Surgery Went Well

Elliot is recovering well. We had great doctors and great nurses working on him. The anesthesiologist and surgeon both specialize in pediatrics and cardiology.

He is looking at being on the ventilator for a second night (Wednesday & Thursday). We expect him to be breathing on his own by Friday. He is pictured below.

It is odd. They are not identical twins but they now have identical scars. We think he has turned a corner and it is up hill from here.
