Elliot has bounced back very well. He looks great and is eating very well. He probably has more energy now that his heart is working better.
There was a celebrity guest into the NICU. Coach Urban Meyer of the 2008 National Champion Gator Football team did a commercial for the March of Dimes. Him and his wife were 3 cribs down from ours. We don't know why they chose to film with the 3rd cutest baby there. Seriously, when you see our kids, you will agree with me. They should have been in the commercial.
Jamie wasn't there. Chris was there but he had to leave for meeting while they were filming. So, he offered our nurse $20 to get a picture with Urban next to the crib. Did she do it? ....No.... We should have offered more money....There might be a Photoshop picture of Urban next to our crib in the future.
Good News! We might get to take them home today (Friday 6/26). We are ready and very excited. A "heart hiccup" could move us back a few days. Bearing any changes, we should be able to get them today.
