We took the babies for their 6 month checkup and boosters and their pediatrician said they are doing very well and are in perfect health! Ava has once again gained a little weight advantage over her little bro, weighing in at 10 lbs 15 oz. Elliot was just shy at 10 lbs 12 oz, however he is now almost 2 inches longer than her!! (He was 1/2 inch longer at birth). He grows out of his pants and footed PJs in what seems like just days! He is going to be a tall boy!!
Well, our pediatrican gave us the go ahead to start feeding the babies solid foods now! So exciting! Though they were not as excited at first. We have just started with some cereal and both babies cried and screamed when we gave them the first tastes. It took a few tries, but Ava is starting to enjoy it and Elliot is already asking for seconds after his meals! He's got some long legs to grow into!
