They were just evaluated for a program called Early Steps that is available to help babies that have developmental delays due to a variety of reasons, such as prematurity. They provide occupational and speech therapy, among other services, to children who qualify. We are thrilled to report that neither of the twins qualified for the program because their development is perfectly on track for babies of their "corrected" age (6 1/2 months, what they would be had they been born on their due date) and they are almost completely on track for their true age of 8 months! The evaluators said they were doing amazingly well and were very impressed with their progress. Of course, as gushing parents, we already knew this ;)
Here are some recent photos.....

The babies have moved on into their new highchairs (thanks Aunt Nancy and Aunt Viv!). Elliot in particular is thoroughly enjoying what has become his new favorite seat in the house! Mmm....FOOD!!!

Ava is a much pickier eater and little Miss Independent! She likes to try to feed herself, which is always a very messy endeavor!

Elliot just being funny!

The babies have been chosen to be the Bank of America Ambassadors for the March of Dimes March for Babies this year (the walk takes place in March) so we needed to give them a recent photo to display at the walk. Here is part of our photo shoot....
